Sally Flis, Ph.D. – Experience in Agronomy and Dairy Production systems sales, marketing and technical support.

Since I completed my Ph.D. in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Vermont I have worked with producers, ag service providers, and agricultural consultants to provide animal and crop mangment and nutriton recommendations. In these positions I have been responsible for the development of markenting plans for whole businesses or specific products and the social media marketing that goes along with that. One of the biggiest lessons I have learned is that absence makes people wander. If you are going to have a social media presence it has to be constant and a good mix of useful information and playful engagement. The other lesson is that socail media is work, it is more successful if there is someone dedicated to the task.

I decided to start this business after watching many social media attempts by small ag businesses sputter and finding a great personal energy from working in social media.
